La adopción no es un proceso fácil ni barato. Horas de estudio, investigación, planificación y muchos otros esfuerzos son dedicados por parejas que desean tener la oportunidad de criar a un niño después de haber intentado con todas sus fuerzas el tener uno propio. Dios tiene el deseo de que regresemos a Él, de adoptarnos.
Adoption is not an easy neither cheap process. Hours of study, research, planning, and many other efforts are dedicated by couples who want to have the opportunity to rear a child after trying so hard to bear their own. God has the desire that we come back to him, to adopt us.
“Más moscas se atrapan con miel que con vinagre” simplemente significa que podemos ganar más gente a nuestro lado por ser gentiles que por ser hostiles. Nuestra misión no es sólo para ganarlos a nuestro lado, pero al lado de Dios. Se nos comanda a ser ganadores del alma (Mateo 28:18-20).
“You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar” simply means that we can win more people to our side by being gentle than by being hostile. Our mission is not only to win them to our side, but to God’s side. We are commanded to be soul winners (Matthew 28:18-20).
Jesús dijo, “A la verdad la mies es mucha, mas los obreros pocos. Rogad, pues, al Señor de la mies, que envíe obreros a su mies” (Mateo 9:37-38). Estimado lector, el puesto de trabajo está abierto, pero, usted debe estar en el edificio. No es un edificio literal que fue construido por las manos del hombre, sino el edificio espiritual que Jesús compró con Su propia sangre (Hechos 20:28), Su iglesia, Su cuerpo (Efesios 1:22-23).
Jesus said, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest” (Matthew 9:37-38). Not a literal building that was constructed by the hands of man, but the spiritual building that Jesus bought with His own blood (Acts 20:28), His church, His body (Ephesians 1:22-23).
Hace casi tres meses, Sonia Venegas, mi madre, tuvo una cirugía de corazón conforme a la petición de su médico. Todos sabíamos que esta cirugía sería muy difícil y que podría tener algunas complicaciones, pero ella confió en su médico, y el procedimiento se hizo. Hoy, murió alrededor de las 2:15am. Tenía 57 años.
Almost three months ago, Sonia Venegas, my mother had a heart surgery as per her doctor’s request. We all knew that this surgery will be very difficult and that it might have some complications, but she trusted in her doctor, and the procedure was made. Today, she died around 2:15 am. She was 57 years old.
El evangelio son las buenas nuevas, el mensaje de salvación, que consiste en la muerte, sepultura, y resurrección de nuestro Salvador. Un mensaje que un perseguidor de Cristianos arrepentido y convertido no se avergonzaba de predicar, porque él mismo reconoció que es el poder de Dios para salvar a todo aquel que cree.
The Gospel is the good news, the message of salvation, which consists of the death, burial, and resurrection of our Savior. A message that a persecutor of Christians who after he was repented and converted was not ashamed to preach, because he himself recognized it is the power of God to save everyone who believes.
